Whoever said a day’s work in the tourism industry is uneventful has never worked at East Cape Tours! After a site inspection earlier this week, our staff can say with conviction that there is never a dull moment when we are out in the bush, reviewing the accommodation we offer. On this site inspection, a group from both our sales department and digital operations department visited six lodges in Addo in the Eastern Cape. While the day didn’t exactly go according to plan, they had a fantastic time, coming back with an impressive knowledge of these lodges and what they offer. This is what one of our content writers had to say about the group’s day in the Eastern Cape wilderness:
On a dark and gloomy Wednesday morning, we hit the road and traded the grey skies of Port Elizabeth for the open road and sunshine that awaited us in Addo. Our first stop was Addo National Park, where we arrived at the park’s main camp. Arriving during SANParks Week, all the ECT members were granted free entry into the park – except for our token Brit, Colin, the CEO/boss man of ECT and the instigator of our unexpected adventure!
