Here are our top favourite activities:
1. Overnight in a Game Reserve or National Park
Addo Elephant National Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Pumba Game Reserve, Amakhala, Lalibela, Camdeboo National Park. These names speak for themselves. The region is home to some of the best, five-star game reserves and safari lodges in South Africa, and they’re all malaria-free! They’re an affordable alternative to the luxury lodges within Kruger National Park or Sabi Sands, and they’re also much smaller, which means less crowds.
